iCP will never be online again.

On October 18, 2010, iCPv3.com said:

When we first opened up iCPv3 our policy stated that if ever received a Cease & Decist from Disney Inc, we would turn our system offline. We have been contacted and our servers are offline. Anyone else is lying. Anyone with the knowledge to code one would see what’s happened in iCPv3′s case, and would also follow our actions.

Unfortunately, iCP is down right now.  You will probably get one of these errors:

A blank screen with the trainer

 

This is happening with everyone.

The main iCP owner and manager, Charles, will be gone for a while.

In the meantime, you can talk about iCP in the IRC chatroom.

Do the following:

1. Go to http://chat.mibbit.com/?channel=%23iCP&server=irc.icpv3.com
2. Type your iCP username in the box “Nickname”
3. You will be connected to the iCP chatroom.

Most of you have noticed that the sexual language on iCP has really gotten out of control.

Charles has set up an iCP LogBot, which is on the IRC Chat.  It has its own channel, and the staff is able to see any suspicious conversations on ANY server or room.

We are able to see the user who said the message, the server they’re in, and the room they’re in. From there, we can kick/ban accordingly.

If you would like to report a user, post a screenshot on the forums.

Hopefully all of this will decrease the amount of innapropriate language on iCP.

Competition 2: Be the user with ID 100,000! (This is linked, as promotion = more users = higher ID’s! :P)

The first competition should be easy for the creative iCP users.  Make sure you post your idea at http://icpv3.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2376 for it to count.

If you don’t have a forum account, you’ll need to register one.  To do this, click here and select “I agree to these terms”, then fill out the information.  Use a valid email address because you will be send a confirmation link.

The second competition will be tricky, because there are a lot of users registering.  You’ll just have to be lucky. 😀

92496 accounts have been registered in total. Click here for a real-time counter.

However, the number of accounts don’t match the actual ID (ex. You could register when the counter says 92496 but have a much higher ID.)

Here’s a hint for you guys.

The IDs are 4206 higher than what the counter says.  So, if you register when the counter says 95,794, you should have ID 100,000!

Today, Charles, the iCPv3 founder, decided to put the Halloween party online early!

(Sorry, Mac folks.  You won’t be able to see the party)

The Halloween Party is on!

He has added some cool scary music and has changed some of the rooms to Halloween .swfs.  Also, he added the Christmas Hat to the party :).

Some rumors are going around that Genis200 has “hacked” iCP in some form.  These rumors are false.

If you don’t like the music, simply mute your computer’s speakers.
